Check your store, place a test order with cash on delivery and share your link.

Guide 4 of 4

Your store is online at its own address as soon as you create it. Use this checklist before you tell customers about it.

1. Check your store settings

Open Settings and check your store name, state, mobile number and GSTIN (if you are registered for GST). Your state and GSTIN decide how GST is worked out.

2. Make the store look like yours

Open Online Store to add your logo and choose your colours. Then choose View your store on the home page of the admin and look at it on your phone as well as on a computer.

3. Switch on cash on delivery

Open Apps and make sure Cash on Delivery is installed and switched on. It is the payment method available today. Online payments are coming soon.

4. Place a test order

  1. Open your store and add one of your products to the cart.
  2. Go to the checkout and place the order with cash on delivery, using your own address.
  3. Open Orders in the admin. The order is there. Open it and try the actions: confirm it, mark it as shipped with a courier and tracking number, and mark cash on delivery as paid.
  4. Cancel the test order when you are done. The stock goes back to the product.

Send your store address to friends, family and customers. Put it in your social media profiles and on your packaging.

6. Keep going

  • Check Orders every day, confirm new orders and ship them quickly.
  • Keep your stock numbers right.
  • Read our Acceptable Use Policy so you know what a store may and may not sell.
