The shipping settings decide what customers pay for delivery. They apply to every order in your store.
1. Open the shipping settings
Open Settings in the menu of your admin and choose Shipping and taxes. Only owners and admins can see the settings.
2. Set your shipping charge
- Flat shipping rate (₹). Charged once per order, whatever is in it. Enter 0 if shipping is always free.
- Free shipping from (₹). Orders whose items add up to this amount ship free. Leave it empty if you do not want a free shipping offer.
3. Say whether your prices include GST
Turn on My product prices include GST if the prices you enter already contain GST, as most shops in India show them. Turn it off only if your prices are before GST: checkout then adds GST to the total.
If you are registered for GST, add your GSTIN in the store settings. Grind Shop checks that it matches your state.
4. Check it
Add a product to the cart of your store and go to the checkout to see the shipping charge and the GST.
Good to know
Shipping apps and automatic tracking are coming soon. For now you ship with the courier you choose, and you add the courier and the tracking number when you mark an order as shipped in the admin.
